TESTIMONY OF DR. Y. SURI SAMUEL D.D.
I am introducing myself that, I am Secretary to CITY ON THE HILL MINISTRIES OF INDIA. My Name is Miss. Verda Cooper. I am giving all activities of our Ministry and the Testimony of my President & Director. DR. Y. SURI SAMUEL. D.D,. Now you can understand when you are seeing all these pictures about our ministry. Now I am furnishing about the testimony of Dr. Y. Suri Samuel. D.D,
Dr. Y. Suri Samuel’s forefathers and His Grandfathers are all belongs to High caste Hindu religion family. This religion called" VISTNAVA", they are all priests in the Hindu temples. They worshipped many many idols and wherever they may be find out any new thing like a snake, tree, stone, animal and some of the devils etc., that time they call the people, show them about new one that it is our new God, it was born for us. So, every one use to come and worship this new God. Like this way they call the people and they blindly worshipped by every one. Dr. Y. Suri Samuel. D.D, born as an elder son to Y. JOHN in the year 1951. Jan. 2nd. In that same manner Dr. Y. Suri Samuel grown up. His grand father teached him those are the real Gods, they will save who are in troubles. He too believed those words and worshipped idols also.
Dr. Y. Suri started his studies in the high school and got bad company, those co-students are all good smokers, gamblers, they escape from the school and doing bad things. Dr. Y. Suri became a Ring leader, why because he is a body builder & Weight Lifter. Day by day he himself enjoying with doing all bad crazy things. Many hurted people came to his father scolded him about Suri’s bad nature.
Due to his father scolding he ate poison nuts, but he was not died. So when he done like this way his father engaged him marriage. After three years he was committed into Adultery with a woman. Not only that he became too worst. Wondering in the streets beating the people and destroying the things of the neighbors. He is doing bad cruel things against girls. So day by day he committed into more and more bad stupid things. Without peace he is living. Like this way his days are going on. One day his mother scolded him badly about his uttermost bad things. He got angry upon his mother and swallowed 20 sleeping tablets. This scene was seen by his wife, intimated to his mother. His mother and his wife cried hardly about his death condition. But wonderfully he was wake up in the next morning without any medical treatment and he asked his parents in the morning that" am I alive ?" or dead ? His parents surprised his words and told him you are alive. From that day onwards his parents not putted any restrictions upon him. So now he got much more freedom living happily in the worldly life. He thought that it is a happy real life. He did not understand himself that it was worst to him.
People are hated him, nobody not like him, nobody not to wanted to talk with him. He thought that it is good and proud to him. Likewise when he is living due to the lack of peace, he swallowed many spiders to kill himself but those are not harmful to him and another time while he is entering into toilet room a big cobra snake came in front of him and it was not bite him. In back of him his parents watching what is to be going on to Y. Suri. But nothing happened to him. So his father amazed about that scene, but as usually the days are going on. In the year 1968 May 4th, he went to a movie along with his friends. After over that movie he is coming back to his home with his friends discussing about cinema. Suddenly he reached a big compound acquainted with big high walls, in that compound a pastor conducted a night Gospel meeting. In that meeting he is preaching the Gospel words telling these words:-- on that same movement just he reached the compound and all of sudden he listen these gold words which are "JESUS CHRIST WAS DIED FOR YOUR SINS SAKE, HE DIED FOR YOUR SINS SAKE." He repeated these words three times.
When he heard these words it hurts him. On that time he realize himself and had a question in his heart what ? Jesus Christ was died for my sins sake ? Is He died for my sake ? When he remembered about his gods and Goddesses, there is none of one given their life to save the people of this world. He realized and remembered those Gods and Goddesses which killed people, and they haven’t pour their blood to any sinners. So, at that moment with much burden in his heart he went to his home slept in his room. Without knowing in the midnight he is crying and he was fell down from his cot, and without knowing he kneeldowned and crying hardly Oh Jesus, Oh God, I am a sinner. I lived against you, I have given much pain to your heart and wounded you. So, father forgive me, for give me and forgive my sins. Like wise when he is calling, his father came into his room, asked him, who told you that you are a sinner ? Why are you telling these words? Y. Suri doesn’t cares his father’s questions, but he talking- I am a sinner, I lived against you and given pain to your heart, that moment his father understood something happened to Y. Suri and left him away from his room. But he is crying hardly asking our Lord to forgive his sins unto give peace to his heart. In that time Early in the morning 2.00 AM., suddenly he found there is a huge brightness covered his room. He was surprised about that, but crying as usually, asking our Lord to forgive his sins. He seen in that great light of the brightness a beautiful man weared with white clothes. His skin looking like snow. Suri wants to see that beautiful man and HIS face, but Y. Suri’s eyes unable to see HIS face and the Light. That moment Jesus Christ came into his room, his room became much more light. That movement he cried hardly asked our Lord to forgive his sins and hold HIS legs and asking our Lord repeating those words. Jesus Christ opened his mouth and taught with him personally, DO YOU KNOW WHO AM I ? I AM JESUS CHRIST, I SACRIFICED MY LIFE FOR YOUR SINS SAKE and took him to HIS hands and given him a big hug and given him kiss and told him " MY SON YOUR SINS WERE FORGIVEN", SO, DON’T ENTER INTO EVIL FROM THIS DAY, LIVE FOR MY SAKE STAY FOR MY SAKE" and HE ascended away. That movement he got great peace in his heart and his heart was filled with great joy and happy. In the year 1968. May. 4th is a great day in his life.
On that day he was repented and his life and everything was changed. " THERE FORE IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIT, HE IS A NEW CREATURE: OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY: BE HOLD, ALL THINGS ARE BECOME NEW" II Corin. 5:17. According the word of God, he was baptized in the water, " HE THAT BELIEVETH AND IS BAPTISED SHALL BE SAVED, BUT HE THAT BELIEVETH SHALL NOT SHALL BE DAMNED". Mark 16:16. From that time he is living happily in presence of our Lord: He stood 2 years as believer in the Church. In 1970 December 31st when the fellowship had watch night prayer, our Lord taught with him by the prophecy through a believer and our Lord given this verse to do HIS ministry. " THOU WHOM I HAVE TAKEN FROM THE ENDS OF THE EARTH, AND CALLED THEE FROM THE CHIEF MAN THEREOF, AND SAID UNTO THEE, THOU ART MY SERVANT: I HAVE CHOSEN THEE AND NOT CAST THESE AWAY: "FEAR THOU NOT, FOR IAM WITH THEE, BE NOT DISMAYED; FOR IAM THY GOD: I WILL STRENGTHEN THEE; YEA, I WILL HELP THEE, YEA, I WILL UPHOLD THEE WITH THE RIGHT HAND OF MY RIGHTEOUSNESS: ISAIAH 41: 9, 10.
So on that next day January 2nd 1970 our Lord’s ministry started by Dr. Y. Suri. He started to visiting homes and telling his testimony and explaining the good news, but many people not allowed him and beaten him and some spanked him and some not allowed to step into their homes, but for our savior sake he beard all these troubles and visiting homes telling the truth and praying for the sick people, but in this situation due to the family affairs his parents thrown him away from their family with three kids. That moment his wife got pregnant- 7th month carrying: His parents not given anything to live or to feed his children, in that terrible trouble time he and his family was fell into starving with lack of food and his elder daughter also died in this starving time. In that terrible troubles he planned to give poison to his children unto his wife to die together. That moment he conducted family prayer meeting and cried in front of our Lord about his situation. That moment our Lord called him with His sweet voice My son" FEAR NOT I WILL HELP THEE FOR I THE LORD THY GOD WILL HOLD THY RIGHT HAND AND SAYING UNTO THEE" ISAIAH 41:13. So he stopped to give poison to his wife and children. That moment without knowing our Lord sent some help from above. With that money he purchased food to his children and feed them. So, in this trouble time one Pastor came and visited him and saw his troubles. He got compassion upon him and given some addresses of God’s children to tell them about their situation and about his needs and he given some money to send letters. By that way he wrote his troubles and needs to our beloved Gods children. Praise God some sent some help to feed their family unto purchase a Bicycle, Gas lamp and Musical instrument called Brass Drum for our Lords ministry.
After few years passed some co-ministers together and started a Ministry called CITY ON THE HILL MINISTRIES in 1982 and this was Registered under the Societies and Charities Act. No- 776/84. Our Lord given us great opportunity to get the permission after we Registered our Societies in HOME AFFAIRS- NEW DELHI- INDIA to get permission for FOREIGN CONTRIBUTION REGULATION ACT ( FCRA) NO- 010180100.
